Education, training and innovations in conversion to organic farming

The round table discussion in Hungary was held in Bölcske (St. András Castle) on March 4th 2025. The diverse focus group included teachers, trainers and pedagogical experts, representatives of adult education centres, organic farmers, and delegates from partner institutions and from outside. Besides the 11 external participants, MATE colleagues also attended the event. Focus group participants and invited speakers received the agenda and the questions to be discussed before the meeting in the letter of invitation.

The meeting started with a short introduction of the project, the results of interviews conducted in the framework of ETICOF project and the almost finalized pedagogical guide.

The objectives of the roundtable discussion were to present the pedagogical guide, i.e. the collection of pedagogical methodologies suggested by farmers during the interviews and compiled by the ETICOF consortium, and then to gather the focus group participants’ opinions on their usefulness and applicability.
